 Navien Combination domestic hot water and in floor radiant heating. This is a retrofit where an older system with polybutene floor tubes  was upgraded with a complete new mechanical room that removed all ferrous steel or iron components so that the oxygen that penetrates the pipes will not cause any corrosion. The Navien is a high efficiency modulating boiler for energy savings. This system is equipped with 2 temperatures, a higher temp for the upper floor about 150 F for joistspace application, and 100 F for the ground floor with tubes in concrete.  60 gallon storage tank for additional DHW.

Drain water heat recovery (Copper assembly). Captures drain water heat from shower, bathtub, dishwasher etc and sends the warmed water to the Domestic hot water heater (via blue pipe). This reduces the amount of energy needed to heat the domestic hot water to required temperature, to save money. These are made of copper for excellent heat transfer and  would save significant energy over the life of a home.

Gravity domestic hot water recirculation system (Not shown). An excellent feature giving you hot water almost immediately without using an expensive circulator that is wasteing electricity year round. Reduces water waste - (while you run  water waiting and waiting for the hot water - large amounts of water are going down the drain.)
